Drive Into Summer

This studio painting was of a horse drive sponsored by the Hellsaroarin' Outfitters in Jardine, MT.  Each Spring they drive about 150 horses with about 50 cowboys and cowgirls from the Rodeo Grounds in Gardner, MT, up a winding gravel road to Jardine, where they summer.  The donations for this event go towards medical supplies for Vets.  What a great cause.  It was so exciting and awesome to be able to participate and paint that experience on canvas!
